Danielle, Attorney at Law, is the founder and managing partner of the firm. She is a Business Law graduate and has so far undergone qualifying professional trainings offered by International institutions such as The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), The African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), The International Finance Corporation (IFC) etc…She combines her position in the firm with her corporate and commercial law practice.
Danielle’s particular areas of interest are Oil and gas law, corporate law practice, drafting and reviewing of civil and commercial agreements, debt recovery procedures, loan agreements, leasing, intellectual property, energy law, Common Law and Civil Law practice, as well as all aspects of commercial law. She gathered experience from previous niche work in renowned Corporate and Intellectual property law firms. She also has extensive oil and gas experience working with multinational corporations in Central and West Africa.
Danielle has acted for a number of institutional and corporate clients under various capacities including as in house counsel and legal practitioner, and in a variety of areas such as oil and gas, intellectual property law, telecommunication law, foreign investments, negotiations, aviation law, maritime law, labour law, debt recovery and Alternative dispute resolution. She has also advised on corporate and regulatory issues in Central and West Africa.
A qualified lawyer admitted to both the Cameroonian Bar and the Nigerian Bar, she is also a lecturer in Common Law and Legal Practice at the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin Republic).
As an active member of Professionals’ Associations including the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), Energy Institute (London), the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), the French Committee of Arbitration (CFA), the International Association of Managing Partners (IAMP), the African Research Centre on Mining and Energy Policies (CARPEM),the Association for the promotion of OHADA in Cameroon. Danielle is well grounded and vastly familiar with the legal contours of business in and out of Africa.
Williams is an Attorney at law and Senior Associate in the firm. He holds a PhD in International Business Law obtained from the most revered Central European University (accredited in the U.S. and in Hungary -New York/Budapest), where he also obtained the Masters degree in International Business Law. He is well-qualified in drafting and reviewing business agreements; corporate litigation; Intellectual property rights; Banking law; he advises on telecommunication, energy, mining and transport law, company secretary duties and consumers’ protection.
Franklin is an Associate in the firm. He is a graduate in Private fundamental law, he excels in legal and tax due diligence, debt recovery, taxation law, property law and real estate transactions. He is equally a certified World Bank Doing Business Consultant.
Louise is the Communications & Business Development Officer. A skilled and diversely trained office professional, she has a sound experience as translator, interpreter and business development manager. She holds a BA in bilingual letters and prior to joining D. Moukouri & Partners, she has worked for renowned international organizations, multinational companies and the embassy of the United States of America (USA) in Cameroon.
