Appolinaire is an Associate in the Firm.

He holds a Master’s degree (LLM) in Business Law. He is a PhD Researcher in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa at the University of Dschang in Cameroon. He is also completing a training in Contract Management at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom (UK).
Appolinaire previously acted as a corporate law Associate in a leading law firm in Cameroon where he extensively worked on mergers and acquisitions deals, competition regulatory compliance, and advisory.
With his expertise in International Business Law and international trade, he handles the complex legal issues surrounding cross-border transactions, corporate governance, corporate finance, and business regulation. He advises on a wide range of matters including anti-dumping, trade barrier regulations, customs regulations, export controls, preferential trade arrangements and investment agreements. The contract of carriage of goods by road within the OHADA jurisdictions also forms part of his areas of expertise.
He provides commercially sound advice in mergers and acquisitions, technology transactions, finance, and capital markets in the CEMAC zone. He advises on innovative and traditional forms of payment services, trading, lending, and alternative finance, including mobile payments, e-wallets, and crowdfunding.
He has experience of some of the major technology-driven and outsourcing projects in Cameroon and the CEMAC zone.
He is a Consultant for the World Bank.
