On November 9, 2024, the Douala Anglophone Lawyers Association (DALAS) hosted the 2024 DALAS Law Dinner in Douala, Cameroon, with the aim of celebrating and strengthening the bonds of confraternity within the Cameroonian legal community.
The evening was marked by an unforgettable keynote address delivered by Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Immediate Past Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. His masterful presentation explored the vital role of African lawyers in structuring large-scale projects across the continent, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance.

In Cameroon, lawyers are mentored through a system of pupillage under Senior Advocates. The dinner also provided a moment of heartfelt reflection for Danielle Moukouri, who expressed her continued gratitude to Barrister Nico Halle and the entire NICO HALLE & CO. LAW FIRM, where she was trained 16 years ago as a Pupil Advocate at the Cameroon Bar.
