CONIA 2025: Vision, Voice, and Vanguard Leadership

CONIA 2025 opened with a powerful spirit of connection, collaboration, and commitment. From reuniting with longtime peers to engaging with new voices in the AI and tech ecosystem, Barrister Danielle Moukouri joined rich, forward-looking conversations shaping Cameroon’s digital future alongside key decision-makers and leaders.

Day One was officially chaired by Cameroon’s Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Mrs. Minette LIBOM LI LIKENG, setting the tone for meaningful discourse around inclusive and sovereign digital transformation.

At the CONIA Gala on Day Two, Barrister Moukouri presented the current status of the Cameroon National AI Strategy, a bold, practical framework guiding the country toward responsible, ethical, and nationally aligned AI development.

The strategy sets clear milestones: national adoption by 2025, positioning Cameroon as a CEMAC innovation hub by 2030, and continental AI leadership by 2040.

Her call to action was clear: the time to shape our digital future is now. Joined by leaders from government, industry, academia, and civil society, the event underscored a shared commitment to building an AI future rooted in context, guided by ethics, and driven by collective ambition.
